春节，也叫过年，是我国人民传统的重要节日,也是举家团聚的日子。每到此时，不管在外的人在哪个地方，都要早早往家赶。他们带着大包小包，里面装着各样的东西，有给老人和孩子买的衣服，有为小孩买的玩具，有从外地买的特产，真是应有尽有。
我们小孩子尤其盼望着早点过年，因为过年时爸爸妈妈给我们买新衣服穿，还能放花放炮，还能拿到压岁钱。
今年春节我是在农村老家过的。从初三到初六，村里的各家各户都互相串亲戚拜年。过了正月初六，村子里就开始各种娱乐活动了。村里的锣鼓队，秧歌队，他们穿上鲜艳的古装又敲又扭。还有舞狮子的，耍火龙的，大家尽情的跳啊，乐啊，真是热闹极了！
明年春年，我还要回老家过年。

去年，除夕的前一天，我家就热闹起来了。我们全家一起装饰屋子，在客厅里，我挂了一个红艳艳的小灯笼，爸爸又在别的屋子里挂了些五光十色的小彩灯，一闪一闪，一亮一亮，有的是小礼物形的，有的是花骨朵形的，还有的带着细细的尖儿。它们有的红艳艳，红得像冬天的糖葫芦一样，有的黄澄澄，黄得像秋天的树叶一样，有的绿油油，绿得像夏天的小草一样，有的粉嘟嘟，粉得像春天的丁香花一样，屋里很美，我的准备工作终于结束了。
